Coach's Message
"The 2008 Newport Harbor Baseball team looks to be very competitive in it’s second year in the Sunset League. Top returning starters include senior pitchers R.J. D’cruz and Patrick Brennan. Senior Erik Bonn will be the leader of the defense at catcher. Additional returnees with experience include Junior Alex Rios , sophomore Jacob McCann, sophomore Jack Grace, sophomore Dillan Frieberg and sophomore Ryan Albert. Other players expected to have an impact are senior Brian Bennett, senior Brock Schuler, Junior Cody Green and junior Scott Ward. This group has a strong mix of experienced leaders and young talent. Hard work and dedication will continue to be key factors meeting the team goals.
